Ada Comstock Scholars have a variety of options for housing. In Rothman House, each student has a single room, and the house residents share bathrooms, a kitchen and living room. In Conway House, students may choose to share a two-bedroom apartment with another Ada Comstock Scholar. On-campus housing is guaranteed for any Ada Comstock Scholar who requests it.

Conway House

Conway House provides apartment-style housing for two Ada Comstock students in a shared unit or for Ada Comstock Scholars with families in family units. It has eight two-bedroom shared units and two three-bedroom family units. A common room provides a social place for students and their families to gather.

Rothman House

A traditional-style house for 10 students, each student in 150 Elm has a single room and students share bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen.

Requesting On-Campus Housing

To request on campus housing, Ada Comstock scholars must complete the Ada Comstock Residence Life Information Form once they have been accepted and paid their deposit to attend Smith College.

Returning Ada Comstock Scholars who want to request to live on campus must complete the Change of Housing Status Form the semester prior to wanting to live on campus. All Adas living on campus must be enrolled in at least 12 credits unless an exception has been granted by their class dean. Ada Comstock Break Housing

Some Ada Comstock residential houses are open year-round while others are only open during the academic year. More information about break housing can be found on the Break Housing page.
